How &

Questions & Answers

  • Is Voltarol Joint Pain Relief Gel right for me?

Voltarol Joint Pain Relief Gel is suitable for people who experience joint pain and inflammation that lasts throughout the day. Voltarol Joint Pain Relief Gel provides all-day relief from pain and inflammation in joints. Voltarol Joint Pain Relief Gel can help you take back control of your life by providing you with long-lasting pain relief. If symptoms persist after 7 days or get worse at any time, medical advice should be sought. Not to be used for more than 7 days unless recommended by a doctor.
The gel is not recommended for use in children under 14 years of age.

  • Does the pain relief from Voltarol Joint Pain Relief Gel last all-day?

Voltarol Joint Pain Relief Gel requires only two applications per day, preferably morning and evening, to provide all-day concentrated relief from pain and inflammation. Regular application (according to instructions) creates a reservoir of diclofenac, the active ingredient, deep within the skin – to provide a sustained release of the medicine into the underlying tissue.

  • How does Voltarol Joint Pain Gel work?

Voltarol Joint Pain Relief Gel can provide concentrated all-day pain relief by targeting pain and inflammation at the source. By applying the gel twice a day (morning and evening), a reservoir of diclofenac is formed to give the skin a source of active ingredient that provides long-lasting all-day pain relief (when applied regularly according to instructions). The Emulgel technology used in Voltarol Joint Pain Relief Gel helps the active ingredient diclofenac to penetrate deeply into the skin and reach the site of the pain and swelling.

  • When should I NOT use Voltarol Joint Pain Relief Gel?

If you have any health conditions or you are taking any other medications, including those that do not require a prescription, always ask your pharmacist or doctor if Voltarol Joint Pain Relief Gel is suitable for you. In addition, before you start using Voltarol Joint Pain Relief Gel carefully read the product information leaflet included in the pack for instructions on how to use.
